THE OVERVIEW

Built around
a real problem.

I contributed to GoatLeads as a senior software engineer from August 2025 to February 2026. My work focused on an insurance CRM, ongoing product delivery, and improving the maintainability of its notes system.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

What needed to change.

An evolving CRM needs new features alongside maintenance of existing workflows. The notes system needed substantial refactoring while supporting continued product development.

02 / THE APPROACH

Decisions that mattered.

  • Contributed product changes through the team's pull-request workflow.
  • Used AI-assisted development to support a substantial notes-system refactor.
  • Focused on application architecture and maintainability alongside feature delivery.
03 / THE OUTCOME

What shipped.

Contributed more than 100 merged pull requests and worked on a notes-system refactor spanning more than 6,000 lines. The public site is live, but access may vary by region; the visual shown here is an illustration, not a product screenshot.
