Concert Finance.
More reliable integrations. Better-tested workflows.
Built around
a real problem.
I worked on Concert Finance, a sales performance management project acquired by Varicent. My contributions covered feature development, complex debugging, integrations, database performance, and automated testing. The original project has since been deprecated in favor of a newer version; the reference link points to Varicent.
What needed to change.
The application combined third-party integrations with a very large database and heavily used payouts and releases workflows, making reliability, loading performance, and test coverage central concerns.
Decisions that mattered.
- Developed features and resolved complex application problems.
- Worked on HubSpot and Salesforce integrations.
- Managed and optimized a very large database.
- Wrote raw SQL queries to improve loading times in the payouts and releases module.
- Expanded RSpec test coverage from 40% to 60%.
What shipped.
Improved automated test coverage and contributed integration and database-performance improvements. This is historical project work; the original Concert Finance product has been superseded.
